B.1 Triangle Bikeway Update – Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
During the work session staff from the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) provided Council with an overview and update to the Triangle Bikeway as well as a review of upcoming public engagement events. The Triangle Bikeway is planned as a regional, active mobility infrastructure project providing connections to the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill metropolitan areas. The eastern portion of the 23-mile corridor will tie into Raleigh’s existing trail network and is moving into preliminary design.
