  • Councilor Harrison asked that Transportation & Transit Committee address all top ten intersection safety issues at February meeting Councilor Patton asked for funds to cover costs for her to attend Strong Cities conference and it was unanimously approved
  • Councilor Silver asked for more information about New Bern BRT next steps given initial failed bid process; Mayor Cowell noted the information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks
  • Mayor Cowell asked for a staff update on Biophilic Cities goals and accomplishments
  • Councilor Jones will hold her next District E meeting on January 8 from 6-7:30pm at Laurel Hills Community Center in conjunction with budget listening session. District E is starting a book club called “Decoding Democracy with Councilor Jones” and will meet at Oberlin Regional Library on Saturday, January 25 from 9:30-11:30am and CACs will be part of the discussion.. Asked for an update on Five Points Streetscape Study. Asked for information regarding invasive species in Raleigh.
