Raleigh is at a breaking point
You can HELP
The City is approving rezonings that directly contradict its own Comprehensive Plan and Small Area Plans, the documents meant to protect neighborhoods, historic areas, and responsible growth. When the government fails to follow its own rules, residents are left with no choice but to stand up and defend themselves.
You can support two neighborhood groups that are working to hold the City accountable for ALL neighborhoods
Midtown Neighbors United has joined the fight with Raleigh Neighbors United.
Becuase the city has recently approved zoning cases adjacent to neighborhoods in both Glenwood-Brooklyn and North Hills, these two groups have legal standing to take the city to court now to protect ALL Raleigh neighborhoods going forward. The city already has its eyes on removing Historic Overlay protections in the historic Mordecai neighborhood. Your neighborhood could be next.
These decisions affect all of Raleigh, and they underscore why neighborhoods must be prepared to act.
Please donate to BOTH organizations. They are running separate fundraising efforts. Any amount you can give will help.

This is about accountability and trust but most of all, it is about the future of Raleigh and whether neighborhoods, families, and historic communities that make Raleigh great still matter in the face of unchecked development pressure.
If you care about our neighborhoods and our city’s integrity, please GIVE to these funds. Every dollar matters.
Share this message. Together we can defend ALL Raleigh neighborhoods and demand better from those that are supposed to represent all of us.
Thank you for your support, your generosity, and your commitment to a better Raleigh.
Note: The fight will hold the City accountable to their plans and that will help ALL Raleigh neighborhoods, including yours!
