    Our first organizing meeting for restarting Raleigh’s Central CAC (Citizen Advisory Council) will be on Saturday, June 6 at 2:00 PM in the John P. “Top” Greene African American Cultural Center (401 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.). Attached is a PDF about restarting the Central CAC. The PDF has more information and links. Please email the PDF to your friends and neighbors. Also consider printing it out and dropping it off to them as well.   We’re starting to build momentum in our reactivation efforts, including a presentation this past Saturday at the South Park-East Raleigh Neighborhood Association (SPERNA). If your neighborhood association would like a presentation at your next meeting, please let us know!   We hope to create a new Central CAC board that reflects the diversity of our community. So please get involved and consider being nominated to a board position.   • Patterns of Belonging Exhibit Celebration

    Join us for a family-friendly celebration of our newest exhibition, Patterns of Belonging: English Learners' Reflections on America 250. The afternoon will include snacks, crafts, and celebrations, including a special music performance by Raleigh Music Collective! Visit the exhibit and explore shared expressions of identity and pride in a collaborative community mural, experience the voices of English learners by flipping through their reflection journals, and add your own voice to the conversation by contributing a wish for the future of the United States at the Wish Wall.
