• Five Points CAC Hybrid Meeting

  • Midtown CAC Meeting

    For our last meeting of 2025, let’s gather for casual conversation and an opportunity to meet other residents. I will provide the basics: PrimoHoagie’s assorted sandwiches, Biggby’s Coffee, and chocolate treats (all locally donated). The rest is up to you. We could use cold drinks, salads, fruit, snack food, or whatever you would like to contribute. Please let me know if you are bringing items to share. Otherwise, we will just mingle and enjoy the company. If there is anything of special interest that you would like to see in 2026, just let me know. For general interest, Tuesday, December 2, was a memorable day for CACs. Council took a huge step forward in strengthening the Raleigh CAC organization and partnership with the City by approving additional benefits that will strengthen our ability to fulfill our mission. As part of that agreement, the CACs have joined the Engagement network, along with other public groups that serve area residents in many ways. Another reason to celebrate. Unlike our other meetings, there isn’t any agenda for this meeting. The only item affecting Midtown in the near future is the upcoming North Hills rezoning, with proposals for 40, 20, and 12-story buildings in an area zoned for 12 and 5-story heights.
