Our SW area is part of three different Raleigh Police Districts. Popular subjects are vandalism and Porch Pirates. (Always report porch pirates to Raleigh Police Dept) Carolina Pines Community Center Projects and Updates - Playgrounds and tennis courts are being modified. Carolina Pines Ave Improvement Project - Extending from Lake Wheeler Rd. to South Saunders St. Construction has started with alternating single lane traffic much of the day. This is going to be a complex project. Suggest avoiding the area if you don't live there. Raleigh Golf Association (RGA) - Land Sale and Rezoning - RGA property north of Tryon Rd. is in the process of being sold.
