    Join the Raleigh Arts team for a free pizza and comics workshop with artist Wolly McNair (who has worked with Nike, Archie Comics, IDW Comics) and help shape Raleigh’s new emergency preparedness comic book. Share your ideas and tell us what characters, colors, and symbols make you feel safe and represented. Then create your own comic character and bring your hero to life. Come hungry, get creative, and be part of a project designed by teens, for teens! Register here. The event will be Saturday, March 28 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.  The event is free.     Slow down, reflect, and reconnect through spoken word poetry in a natural outdoor setting! As part of SEEK Raleigh, Artist Kiana Renee has created an immersive, community-centered arts experience in celebration of National Poetry Month. A Walk with Poetry is designed to highlight and uplift Raleigh's vibrant poetry community. Encounter live poetry performances at designated stops along Shelley Lake and listen to featured performers in the Pecan Grove (located near the trail entrance). The program culminates in a powerful headlining performance by award-winning poet, playwright, cultural organizer, performing artist, and scholar, Dasan Ahanu
