Patterns of Belonging Exhibit Celebration

Join us for a family-friendly celebration of our newest exhibition, Patterns of Belonging: English Learners' Reflections on America 250. The afternoon will include snacks, crafts, and celebrations, including a special music performance by Raleigh Music Collective! Visit the exhibit and explore shared expressions of identity and pride in a collaborative community mural, experience the voices of English learners by flipping through their reflection journals, and add your own voice to the conversation by contributing a wish for the future of the United States at the Wish Wall. Pride Ride: LGBTQ+ Trolley Tour

Mordecai Historic Park 1 Mimosa St, Raleigh

Join the Historic Raleigh Trolley for Raleigh’s Pride Ride, celebrating the city’s LGBTQ+ history. This ride highlights historic locations, neighborhoods, businesses, churches, and other points of interest throughout the city connected to Raleigh’s LGBTQ+ community. Tickets are $12 per person and can be purchased in person at the Mordecai Historic Park Visitor Center or over the phone at 919-996-4364. Informal presentation and Q&A re Wake Stone Triangle Quarry

You are invited to an informal presentation and Question/Answer session at Rally Point Sports Pub in Cary regarding the Sunset Clause on the Wake Stone Triangle Quarry next to Umstead State Park. In December a judge ruled in favor of the Sunset Clause which would make Wake Stone's operations adjacent to Umstead cease in the year 2031. In April-ish of this year a bad judge put a stay on the good judge's ruling. But facts are facts, and the facts show the Sunset Clause is real.
