C.2 Celebrate Oberlin Volunteer Coordination Confirm commissioner volunteer attendance and coordinate tabling materials for the Celebrate Oberlin annual event on Saturday, October 10th.   • Movie Series at Pullen Park

    Pullen Park Amusements 520 Ashe Ave., Raleigh, NC

    Join us for movie nights this summer at Pullen Park! Families, friends, and film lovers of all ages are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a season of outdoor cinema on the event lawn. Screenings will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, kicking off in June and concluding in October. All screenings are free and open to the public. Refreshments and popcorn will be available for purchase at the Pullen Café.   • Celebrating Art & Transportation On Atlantic Avenue

    Celebrate Atlantic Avenue The City is excited to celebrate the Atlantic Avenue Improvement Project with a ribbon-cutting event! The project enhanced Atlantic Avenue between New Hope Church Road and Highwoods Boulevard with new sidewalks, a multi-use path, a median with turn lanes, and a new traffic signal at Bramer Drive. These improvements make it easier and safer for people to travel along the corridor. See what's new along Atlantic Avenue! Public Art Along the Corridor The project also includes public art by Durham artist David Wilson.
