River Cane Wetland Park - Invasive Species Removal Day We’re excited to announce the Invasive Species Removal Work Day at River Cane Wetland Park! This event marks a significant step in preparing the park for its next stage of development, and we’d love for you to join us. 📅 Date: Thursday, January 23, 2025 ⏰ Time: 12:00–3:00 p.m. 📍 Location: River Cane Wetland Park, 4700 Kyle Drive. Parking is available along the street. Together, we’ll work to remove non-native invasive plant species, helping to restore the park's natural beauty and biodiversity. This hands-on event is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the transformation of River Cane Wetland Park and connect with others who share your commitment to our green spaces. Made up of talented City of Raleigh employees, this crowd-favorite group brings the energy with popular covers that'll have you dancing in no time. They’ve played all over town—and now they’re bringing the party to you! Food Trucks: Come Hungry! We’ve got delicious eats lined up just for you! Kids 12 & under can grab free pizza from our awesome neighbors at Timber Pizza. Plus, treat yourself to tasty bites from Party in a Pita, Lee’s Kitchen, and cool off with a refreshing Jones Lemonade Slushy. Yum! No registration required.
