Moore Square, in partnership with the North Carolina Museum of Art, brings free outdoor movies to downtown Raleigh this spring and summer. Join us monthly for themed activities and programming, including food trucks beginning at 6 p.m., followed by an evening film under the stars at 7:15 pm. Join us for movie nights this summer at Pullen Park! Families, friends, and film lovers of all ages are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a season of outdoor cinema on the event lawn. Screenings will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, kicking off in June and concluding in October. All screenings are free and open to the public. Refreshments and popcorn will be available for purchase at the Pullen Café. The Sustainability Wildlife and Urban Trees Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 305 at 4:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.
The committee is responsible for the study of issues related to park facilities, features, developments, and modifications. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns.
