Learn about the improvements planned for the Mine Creek Greenway at a public open house on Tuesday, June 3, from 4  to 7 p.m. at the Sertoma Arts Center, Raleigh Room, located at 1400 W. Millbrook Road. Learn about the improvements planned for the Mine Creek Greenway on Saturday, June 7,  from 8  to 11 a.m. at the Shelley Lake parking lot located at 1140 W. Millbrook Road. The section of Mine Creek Trail included as part of this project extends from Shelley Lake south to Crabtree Creek Greenway, near North Hills Drive. The proposed improvements include trail resurfacing, improved community access, safety enhancements, and pedestrian bridge replacement. The Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board (PRGAB) will meet in-person in the Raleigh Council Chambers, 222 W. Hargett Street at 6:00 p.m. The Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Greenway Advisory Board meetings are open to the public. This meeting will be streamed for public viewing - watch meeting. The PRGAB meets on the third Thursday of each month.
