Hare Snipe Watershed Study Public Meeting

Raleigh Stormwater is hosting a drop-in public meeting to hear your feedback on the Hare Snipe Creek Watershed Study. Background We are doing a study of the Hare Snipe Watershed. The goal is to better understand and improve flooding, water quality, and stream conditions in the area. Study Area: Northwest Raleigh near Lake Lynn between Strickland Road, Leesville Road, NC 50, and US 70.

The committee is responsible for the study of issues related to park facilities, features, developments, and modifications. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Parks Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 303 at 6:00 pm.

Oberlin Road Streetscape Project Pre-Construction Meeting

Jaycee Park Community Center 2405 Wade Avenue, Raleigh

We are making improvements to Oberlin Road from Groveland Avenue to just north of Roberts Street, with wider sidewalks, revised traffic lanes, bus stops, public art, and landscaping. Construction is scheduled to start early this fall. We are having a public Pre-Construction meeting to give residents and businesses the opportunity to: Meet the construction team; Learn what to expect during construction; View the traffic control plans; and, Ask construction related questions. Colleton Road Sidewalk Public Meeting

A New Sidewalk is Coming to Colleton Road The City plans to install a sidewalk on Colleton Road along the east side of the street from Bertie Drive to Oakwood Avenue. We are having an onsite public meeting on November 15, from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m., so residents can see the design plans and ask questions about the project. The team will be on the corner of Colleton Road and Bertie Drive between 4:30 and 6 to talk with residents about the proposed sidewalk. Learn more about the project.
