Valley Drive Sidewalk Project Public Meeting

Optimist Park Community Center 5900 Whittier Drive, Raleigh

The City plans to install a sidewalk on east side of Valley Drive from the existing sidewalk beyond Hatherleigh Court to Lynn Road. We are having a drop-in style meeting on December 12, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the Optimist Community Center. The meeting is a great opportunity for residents to see the plans and ask questions about the project. City staff will be on hand to talk with residents about the project, but no formal presentation will be made.

Wake BRT: Northern Corridor Open House

Join us for the Wake BRT Downtown Open House at Raleigh Union Station on the main floor.Limited paid parking is available at Raleigh Union Station. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns.
