    Raleigh Stormwater is hosting a public meeting to share information about the Whispering Branch Road and Woodowl Drive Drainage Project. Drop-by at your convenience to share input and hear project details from stormwater staff. Project Background The stream along Whispering Branch Road and Woodowl Drive is causing flooding to residential properties. We will improve the stream and stormwater pipes to reduce flooding.

  • Alamance Drive Drainage Improvements Public Meeting

    We are improving the drainage on Alamance Drive and would like your feedback on design concerns for this upcoming project. Stop by at your convenience to give feedback on the design and construction of the project. Project Background Residents on Alamance Drive and Alleghany Road noticed severe yard and structural flooding, which came from undersized pipes in the area. To reduce flooding, we will reroute the water flow on Alamance Drive and replace and upsize a stormwater pipe under Alleghany Road. We finalized the design for this project and anticipate construction this year. Learn more about the project.
