During this event, three proposed alignment options will be shared for the segment of the project running between Six Forks Road and Wake Towne Drive. Attendees will be able to learn about, and ask questions about, one streamside alignment option that runs along the west side of Big Branch as well as two roadside options, one running along Plantation Road and Belvin Drive and the other running along Plantation Road and Hines Drive.

Millbrook Road. Learn about the improvements planned for the Mine Creek Greenway on Saturday, June 7,  from 8  to 11 a.m. at the Shelley Lake parking lot located at 1140 W. Millbrook Road. The section of Mine Creek Trail included as part of this project extends from Shelley Lake south to Crabtree Creek Greenway, near North Hills Drive. The proposed improvements include trail resurfacing, improved community access, safety enhancements, and pedestrian bridge replacement.   • Alamance Drive Drainage Improvements Public Meeting

    We are improving the drainage on Alamance Drive and would like your feedback on design concerns for this upcoming project. Stop by at your convenience to learn more and provide comments to stormwater staff. Project Background Residents on Alamance Drive and Alleghany Road noticed severe yard and structural flooding, which came from undersized pipes in the area. To reduce flooding, we will reroute the water flow on Alamance Drive and replace and upsize a stormwater pipe under Alleghany Road. We looked at current stormwater system in the project area to determine the design improvements, which are currently being developed. Learn more about the project.

    We are repairing Camp Pond Dam to keep the lake, improve safety, and reduce the risk of road flooding in a large storm event. We would like your feedback on the design for this upcoming project.
