Public Workshop – River Cane Wetland Park

Join Raleigh Parks for a family-friendly public workshop on the River Cane Wetland Park! Share your ideas with the park’s public artist and enjoy light refreshments. At this time, the community will be able to review a more finished design of the park and provide feedback on details like playground equipment selection. This phase is called schematic design, which means the design will be roughly 30% finalized. Accommodations and translation services are available upon request.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the plans so far, ask questions, and most importantly, tell us what you envision for this important community space. Parks Committee

The committee is responsible for the study of issues related to park facilities, features, developments, and modifications. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Parks Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 303 at 6:00 pm.
