Public Workshop – River Cane Wetland Park

Join Raleigh Parks for a family-friendly public workshop on the River Cane Wetland Park! Share your ideas with the park’s public artist and enjoy light refreshments. At this time, the community will be able to review a more finished design of the park and provide feedback on details like playground equipment selection. This phase is called schematic design, which means the design will be roughly 30% finalized. Accommodations and translation services are available upon request.

Carolina Pines Accessible Playground Project Open House

Join us for an open house to discuss the future of Carolina Pines Park's accessible playground! We're excited to share information about the project and gather your valuable input. This is a great opportunity to learn about the plans so far, ask questions, and most importantly, tell us what you envision for this important community space. Your feedback will help us create a playground that meets the needs of everyone in our community. We want to hear from you! Come share your hopes and desires for the new accessible playground at Carolina Pines Park. We'll be on hand to discuss the project, answer your questions, and collect your ideas. Parks Committee

Raleigh Municipal Building 222 W. Hargett St., Raleigh, NC, United States

The committee is responsible for the study of issues related to park facilities, features, developments, and modifications. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Parks Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 303 at 6:00 pm.
