The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Parks Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 303 at 6:00 pm.

The Raleigh Department of Transportation (Mobility Strategy and Infrastructure) invite you to drop by Raleigh Union Station (510 W Martin Street, Raleigh) on May 29, 2024, between 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. to learn more about our new Downtown Raleigh Mobility Study. The Downtown Mobility Study is a City-led initiative to streamline multimodal planning and policy recommendations for the downtown area. The study will be community-driven and will consider the competing needs of stakeholders, advocates, and business owners downtown and will serve as an update to the 2019 Downtown Transportation Plan. Meeting Details When: Wednesday, May 29 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Where: Abbots Creek Community Center (9950 Durant Road, Raleigh, NC 27614) About the Project The City is currently conducting a study to identify improvements that address flooding in the Saybrook at the Falls neighborhood. The study includes data collection and modeling of the drainage system. Results of the study will be presented at the public meeting on May 29. We will also gather your feedback on the recommendations.
