We're hosting a pop-up public meeting to share information about the Braceridge Road Drainage Improvements project. Join us to learn more about the proposed improvements and to share feedback. Pop-Up Meeting Details When: Wednesday, April 29 from 5-6 p.m. Where: Open Space Next To 4109 Batiste Road, Raleigh, NC 27613 Project Background Water from a bioretention area flows through multiple backyards and into the street, resulting in yard and street flooding on Braceridge Road between Batiste Road and Sunridge Road. This project will identify solutions to this flooding. Learn more about the project.

Learn How to Take Water Samples! We are hosting a training workshop for the stream monitoring program! The course will cover basic stream ecology, how to collect water quality samples, and include time for volunteers to practice sampling in the creek. Please come prepared to get a little wet and muddy in the creek. Long pants and boots are strongly encouraged. Registration for this workshop is required.

Swing by the Wilders Grove Solid Waste Services Facility to pick up your five (5) FREE biodegradable yard waste bags during International Compost Awareness Week! The Solid Waste Services Communications staff will be on hand to answer all your questions about the upcoming transition to weekly Enhanced Yard Waste Pickup for residents. Get a jumpstart on your springtime yard clean-up and celebrate our Earth with the Solid Waste Services team! The Wilders Grove Solid Waste Services Facility is located at 630 Beacon Lake Drive Raleigh, NC 27610. Please use the main entrance for visitors and employees by turning right at the intersection of Corporation Parkway and Commerce Park Drive.
