Joint Raleigh/Wake Homelessness Task Force

City/County Joint Homelessness Task Force Meeting on Thursday, June 8 Task Force Background Council Member Stormie Forte and Commissioner Vickie Adamson co-chair the City/County Joint Homelessness Task Force. The group is made up of local leaders, community members, and service providers. The goal of the Task Force is to identify strategies and actions prevent homelessness and ensure the coordination of care for those currently experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month. A final report of their findings and recommendations will be shared in early 2024.
