This year's event is co-sponsored by the Mordecai CAC and the Halifax Community Center. Visit with our community police officers Cool off with ice cream from Howling Cow Play on the Halifax Community Center playground Create sidewalk chalk art Meet new neighbors What to bring Yourself, your family, and your neighbors. Rain plan If the weather is bad we will move inside the lobby of the community center and under the protected porch area. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live and work.
