GoRaleigh Access Paratransit Public Meeting on Monday, August 19! The Raleigh Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities will host the Raleigh Department of Transportation to hear important updates about the GoRaleigh Access program such as the return to fares and implementation of the Transit Assistance Pass for GoRaleigh Access. There will also be time for questions about the GoRaleigh Access Program. Where? Chavis Community Center, Second Floor, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. When? Monday, August 19; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Registration is not required for this meeting, but please consider submitting any questions you have about the GoRaleigh Access Program in advance.
The East CAC will meet on Monday, August 19, at 7 p.m. at Lions Park Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is an organizational meeting and to elect officers to serve a term of 1-year as leaders of ECAC. Open positions include Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. Our next meeting is scheduled for August 24th at 9:30 AM at the Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center with District D City Councilor Jane Harrison. This will be an open meeting so please bring your thoughts, concerns, and updates to share with the group.
