At the June 3, 2025, City Council meeting, Council shared concerns about the general condition of crosswalks markings, with specific reference to the poor condition of crosswalk markings along a section of Six Forks Road. These markings are currently being refreshed through a North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) re-paving project. Additionally, Council expressed interest in learning more about the pavement marking program, including the cycle of replacement and associated costs. --- C.
