The City is currently drafting the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan, which will guide how the City uses federal and local funds to address homelessness, serve low- and moderate-income communities, and create affordable housing over the next five years. The 5-year Plan includes:  Goals and Objectives Building affordable apartments for low-income residents Grants to help the homeless and vulnerable populations Locating affordable housing near transit Workforce Training Programs Geographic priority areas within the City Updates to Citizen Participation Plan The City will be holding six public meetings throughout Raleigh in the fall to discuss this 5-year Plan. More information about the public hearings can be found below and on the City website.
