Hi CAC neighbors, We now have the final agenda for our Hillsborough-Wade CAC meeting which will be two weeks from today: on Tuesday, March 24 at 7:00 PM. We will meet on Zoom and the meeting link is at the bottom of this email. AGENDA • Quick update from the Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation. • Presentation about the Fred Fletched Park Improvement Project. This project is a collaborative effort to upgrade athletic and recreational facilities at the park. These improvements will benefit both the Raleigh community and students from Broughton High School. • Affordable Housing in Raleigh. Presentation by City staff from the Housing and Community Development Department about the affordable housing issues facing Raleigh, the department’s ongoing programs, and community needs. During the Q&A conversation following their presentation, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions about what Raleigh should be doing to solve our affordable housing crisis. The City plans to have an Affordable Housing Bond in this fall’s election. Your participation now may help guide what the bond will look like this fall. This is your opportunity for input!
