SW Raleigh Community Engagement (SWRCE) Virtual Meeting

Please join us Monday evening (April 14th) at 7:00 PM for our monthly SW Raleigh Community Engagement (SWRCE) meeting using Zoom. The link for joining the virtual meeting is below. Following our Inspections and Police Reports, we will be getting an update on the coming opening of the Gipson Play Plaza at Dorothea Dix Park. Carolina Pines Avenue improvement project has been approved and fully funded. We are close to an announcement about construction starting and plans for detours. Raleigh Golf Association is also in the process of selling some property that is seeking rezoning for affordable apartments at 60% AMI. We will spend some time discussing community inputs. If you have opinions, concerns, or just general comments that you want to share, this is the time. Rooted and Growing: Neighborhood Change

Join us for Rooted and Growing: Neighborhood Change, part of the Reflecting Raleigh Community Conversation series. This two-part event will feature speakers discussing the programs, solutions, and benefits of neighborhood change. You’re invited to be part of the conversation. Tuesday, April 15 | 6-8 p.m.   Keynote Presentation  Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church   Your opinions and ideas are important to us. Each night will feature a different program, and you will have a chance to engage with staff and hear information about current projects.   Registration is encouraged but not required.
