Hybrid Midtown Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) Meeting

Eastgate Park 4200 Quail Hollow Dr,, Raleigh, NC

Neighbors, Hope that everyone is doing well this month. Appended is our agenda for this month’s meeting. We are continuing the hybrid model, with the in person meeting at Eastgate Park Community Center, combined with virtual participation using Zoom. We will open the meeting with updates from our local RPD members, followed by some special guests. As many of you know, Council is working on the budget for 2024 / 2025. While this project has been scaled back in terms of road coverage, it will definitely provide property relief to those residents and businesses along Six Forks road, in addition to traffic relief and improved intersection safety from Rowan to Millbrook road. Hopefully, this first stage of improvement will lead to budgeting for additional sections of Six Forks (stages […]

Our meeting next week will have an interesting pairing of the future Hillsborough Street Phase 3 improvements and the rezoning case which is along that same section of the street. I’ll also give an update on what the RCAC and City of Raleigh are doing since the February 6th vote to restore City support.
