Good afternoon, friends, You may have seen in the news on WRAL that the city of Raleigh's Go-Raleigh Access (ADA paratransportation for persons with disabilities) has implemented a new software program which has fundamentally changed the nature of this service in our city. On August 15, 2023, many persons who use this service appeared before city council during public comment to voice their views, concerns and frustration. While council expressed concerns and had questions of transit staff, we feel it necessary to hold another meeting to continue to impress upon city council the urgency of this matter. Therefore, I do request that you come to this meeting to lend your support in this effort. Some of you may have persons with disabiliites in your family who may use this service or may in the future have need of it. See the information below. thanks for your consideration and support. Raleigh Stormwater is hosting a drop-in public meeting to hear your feedback on the Hare Snipe Creek Watershed Study. Background We are doing a study of the Hare Snipe Watershed. The goal is to better understand and improve flooding, water quality, and stream conditions in the area.
