Hi Hillsborough-Wade CAC friends, Our monthly Hillsborough-Wade CAC meeting will be on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:00 PM. We’ll meet at the Jaycee Community Center on Wade Avenue. If you need a ride, please email me at inform@nc.rr.com and we’ll match you up with someone attending the meeting. Councilor Stormie Forte served as the District D Councilor and then was elected as an At-Large Councilor in the last election. Councilor Melton is serving his second term as an At-Large Councilor. Agenda • Police report by Officer Kevin Taylor • Update from the Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation by Jeff Murison • Report on the Oberlin Road Streetscape Project • At-Large Raleigh City Councilors Stormie Forte and Jonathan Melton In March, at our first in-person meeting since before the pandemic we had District D Councilor Jane Harrison and District E Councilor Christina Jones talk with us. For the 50-plus residents in attendance, the Q&A time with them was very informative and useful. We’re looking forward to repeating that experience with Stormie and Jonathan. Don’t miss this opportunity, please put this meeting on your calendar! See you on Tuesday, […]
