East CAC Meeting
Lions Park Community Center 516 Dennis Avenue, RaleighHi Eastsiders! Please mark your calendars for Monday, 11 May 2026 from 7-9 PM for a special East CAC meeting. There has been ongoing incidents of petty crime perpetrated by youths in the neighborhoods west of Raleigh Boulevard. Neighbors are frustrated and are looking for more effective approaches to addressing this crime. I have organized a special East CAC meeting to hear from RPD officers in the Community Impact and Engagement Division and/or the ACORNS and Community Unit regarding better ways we can help curb this activity. Other city officials have been invited and are expected to attend. My hope is that we all leave with some approaches which will benefit everyone involved. Please pass this on to other interested parties. I look forward to seeing you on the 11th. Regards, Mark Turner East CAC acting chair
