Recycling Tour at Sonoco

Wilder's Grove Solid Waste Services 630 Beacon Lake Dr, Raleigh

Raleigh residents can take a behind-the-scenes tour of the City's recycling partner Sonoco Recycling located at 111 South Rogers Lane in Raleigh. Join the Solid Waste Services Communications team to see first-hand how recyclables get sorted, processed, and prepared. Planning Commission Committee of the Whole

The Committee of the Whole is an informal special meeting of the full Planning Commission, held to facilitate further discussions on specific referral items. The Planning Commission bylaws state that rezoning requests that are deemed inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and future land use map are automatically referred to the Committee of the Whole. Additionally, requests for Planned Development or Campus District are also automatically referred to this Committee. The committee typically meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB), located at 222 West Hargett Street, in the Council Chamber or in conference room 305.
