Public Meeting - May 12, 2026 The City of Raleigh Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, May 12 at 9 a.m. at the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street in the City Council Chamber. ITEMS TO BE DISCUSSED B.1 Energy Usage Megan Anderson, Sustainabilty Office During the March 4 City Council meeting, Council requested a report on energy usage and the City’s efforts to mitigate costs and impacts. Updates and information will be provided to Council regarding these topics. Council will hear strategies around the Community Climate Action Plan, facilities management, fleet operations, GoRaleigh compressed natural gas utilization, water treatment cost, and other measures designed to save on energy and cost. --- Recommended Action: Receive as information.
