Southwest Raleigh Community Engagement Meeting

Join us Monday night, April 8th at 7PM for our regularly scheduled Southwest Raleigh Community Engagement Meeting we will be meeting on Zoom. Greetings to Friends and Neighbors City of Raleigh Inspections Report - Inspector David Johnson. City of Raleigh Monthly Report and Update – Captain Karlinski (SW-Southwest). Captain LaTour (SE-Southeast), Captain Van Antwerp (DT-Downtown). Our SW area is part of three Raleigh Police Districts. Our April meeting will Focus on Projects in the Dorothea Dix Park Area - Lauren Danforth, Marketing and Communications Manager for Dix Park, and Nick Neptune, Director of Outreach and Community Engagement for the Dix Park Conservancy will provide information on both Conservancy and City projects that are a part of the Dix Park Plan. Some of the projects include the construction of the Gipson Play Area, the Rocky Branch improvements, the restoration of three stone houses, a future land bridge connecting to Pullen Park, and Lake Wheeler Road improvements. We also want to hear from you and learn more about what you believe are related matters..
