The Dix Park Leadership Committee exists to provide guidance to City staff, the Conservancy, and other partners on the implementation of the Dorothea Dix Park Master Plan. The Leadership Committee is supported by City staff and will make recommendations to the Raleigh City Council, which has final approval on the implementation of the Master Plan. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY THE CHAIR ITEMS TO BE DISCUSSED B.1 Hours of Operation - Commercial Trash Pickup Page 2 The committee will continue discussion of potential changes to permitted hours of operation on commercial trash pickup. At previous meetings, the committee has received benchmarking information from other communities and presented a survey from commercial haulers on the potential impact. The committee will review additional survey information from business organizations and hospitals, and continue to consider and evaluate potential adjustments. C. PENDING ITEMS D. ADJOURNMENT

At the September 23rd Economic Development and Innovation Committee meeting, staff delivered a presentation outlining a multi-phased implementation strategy for the Fayetteville Street Streetscape Plan and discussed preliminary cost implications. Per Committee direction, staff have obtained additional detailed cost estimates and prepared phasing options, along with recommendations for additional placemaking and public art along Fayetteville Street, City Plaza, and Market Plaza. --- Recommended Action: Receive as information and provide feedback on preferred implementation strategy.
