Members discuss various stormwater needs and issues. Then, provides recommendations to staff and reports to Raleigh City Council. The Civic Assembly is a process for problem-solving, centered around group discussion from a representative body of the community. Participants of the Assembly were chosen by lottery and are a group reflective of Raleigh’s overall demographic. The Assembly works to offer perspectives of residents on topics and policies that will shape the Reflecting Raleigh: The Next Comprehensive Plan.
