The East CAC will meet on Monday, July 8th, at 6:30 p.m. at Lions Park Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is an organizational meeting and to elect officers to serve a term of 1-year as leaders of ECAC. Open positions include Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. Please join us to reinvigorate our area’s Citizen Advisory Committee. Five Points CAC virtual (Zoom) meeting

Our next Five Points CAC virtual (Zoom) meeting is next Monday, July 8th, 7-8pm. To join the Zoom meeting https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84111555416 We will have a police report and a guest speaker from the City of Raleigh, Barbara Godwin, Bike & Pedestrian Project Manager, to discuss the Downtown North-South Greenway Connector, https://raleighnc.gov/projects/downtown-north-south-greenway-connector, and the West Street section of it which will bring it to Five Points. And City Council Member Christina Jones will be with us to share news about City Council recent decisions and deliberations and issues before the council. Looking forward to seeing you there. Edie

Our July Meeting Looking at Virtual, In-Person, or Hybrid Meetings - Opportunities are approaching where we will consider what format we use for our monthly meetings. Many have become comfortable with the Virtual format. How we communicate has changed over the last four years. Should we return to the in-person meetings where we met at a community center for many years? We need to look at options and listen to what our community feels is best for us. Please feel free to use this time to bring your comments, and concerns, to the group. We want to hear from you and learn more about what you believe is the best pathway ahead.
