The East CAC will meet on Monday, July 8th, at 6:30 p.m. at Lions Park Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is an organizational meeting and to elect officers to serve a term of 1-year as leaders of ECAC. Open positions include Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Citizen Advisory Councils (CACs) were established to promote citizen participation in city government, disseminate information to communities and solicit views on matters affecting the wellbeing of the citizens.
