    The City of Raleigh is offering Advice About Your Device Drop-In Hours. Whether you have a simple question about how to work your device or have long-term digital goals, attend our drop-in hours to get assistance and learn more. Drop-in hours will be held February - May at three Raleigh locations. There is no registration required for this FREE resource.     Hybrid Midtown Citizens Advisory Council Meeting Monday, March 23, 2026, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Eastgate Park Community Center 4200 Quail Hollow Drive This month's meeting will feature updates on several projects that were initiated in 2025 but are still getting a lot of attention. The first will be an update on Midtown Neighbors United, organized to advocate for responsible development in the North Hills area of Raleigh. The approval of the rezoning of North Hills was decided too quickly without consideration for city planning guidance or infrastructure sufficiency to support further development. This case was previously denied by Council when presented for rezoning. In addition, there will be an update on the Council-chosen pathway for section 1b of the Big Branch Greenway Connector. AGENDA • Quick update from the Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation. • Presentation about the Fred Fletched Park Improvement Project. This project is a collaborative effort to upgrade athletic and recreational facilities at the park. These improvements will benefit both the Raleigh community and students from Broughton High School. • Affordable Housing in Raleigh. Presentation by City staff from the Housing and Community Development Department about the affordable housing issues facing Raleigh, the department’s ongoing programs, and community needs. During the Q&A conversation following their presentation, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions about what Raleigh should be doing to solve our affordable housing crisis.   • Planning Commission Committee of the Whole

    The Committee of the Whole is an informal special meeting of the full Planning Commission, held to facilitate further discussions on specific referral items. The Planning Commission bylaws state that rezoning requests that are deemed inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and future land use map are automatically referred to the Committee of the Whole. Additionally, requests for Planned Development or Campus District are also automatically referred to this Committee. The committee typically meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB), located at 222 West Hargett Street, in the Council Chamber or in conference room 305.
