  • First Friday Market and Movie

    Raleigh Parks’ Moore Square, in partnership with @Get2KnowRaleigh, welcomes back the First Friday Market & Movie Night series for the 2026 season. This free monthly event brings the community together for local vendors, food trucks, live music, and a featured outdoor movie in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Join us on the first Friday of each month from May through November, with the market and food trucks beginning at 5 p.m., live music at 5:30 p.m., and the movie starting around 7:15 p.m. 2026 First Friday Movie Lineup Oct. 2 - Ghostbusters (1984) Nov. 6 - Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)* (movie will begin at 6:30 p.m.) Details Market & Food Trucks: 5 - 9 p.m. Live Music: 5:30 p.m. Movie:  7:15 p.m.* Ages: All Cost: Free Presented in partnership with Get 2 Know Raleigh. Movie sponsored by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance.

  • Movie Series at Pullen Park

    Pullen Park Amusements 520 Ashe Ave., Raleigh, NC

    Join us for movie nights this summer at Pullen Park! Families, friends, and film lovers of all ages are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a season of outdoor cinema on the event lawn. Screenings will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, kicking off in June and concluding in October. All screenings are free and open to the public. Refreshments and popcorn will be available for purchase at the Pullen Café.     The City of Raleigh's Solid Waste Services team will be hosting popups to hand out FREE biodegradable yard waste bags this fall. Swing by Worthdale Park Community Center to pick up your five (5) FREE biodegradable paper yard waste bags! Solid Waste Services staff will be on hand to answer all your questions about the city's new service for residents, Enhanced Weekly Yard Waste Pickup.
