The Dix Park Leadership Committee exists to provide guidance to City staff, the Conservancy, and other partners on the implementation of the Dorothea Dix Park Master Plan. The Leadership Committee is supported by City staff and will make recommendations to the Raleigh City Council, which has final approval on the implementation of the Master Plan. Dix Park Leadership Committee Meetings take place at the Dix Park Chapel the fourth Tuesday of every month with exception of summer break and winter holidays. View meeting agendas and minutes
Public Meeting - August 26, 2025 The City of Raleigh Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, August 26 at 10 a.m. at the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street in the City Council Chamber. Planning and Development staff will provide an overview of previous Council discussions of off- premise signage from 2023-2024, and provide options for potential Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) text amendments. B.2 Item 24-02: Hours of Operation - Commercial Trash Pickup The City Attorney's Office initiated contact with solid waste haulers to gather information regarding early morning collection practices and to assess the potential impacts of a proposed amendment to the noise ordinance. A feedback form was distributed, and the responses have been compiled into the attached chart. C.
