    We’re celebrating Fourth of July with fireworks around the Lenovo Center and Carter-Finley Stadium.  We enjoyed having our fireworks show out at Dix Park. This year, we’re throwing it back to the stadium complex for a firework-focused event.  Parking opens at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

    West Raleigh CAC Summer Social Tuesday July 8th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm We are inviting you to join the West Raleigh CAC for our annual Summer Social on Tuesday July 8th starting at 5:30pm. This in person gathering is taking place at:   Powell Drive Neighborhood Center 740 Powell Drive Raleigh, NC 27606 Cookies and drinks will be provided and we are asking to please bring light snacks to share with those in attendance. We will discuss the recent rezoning that was withdrawn on Athen Drive, recognize the great work being done by the Wild West Gardening for Wildlife group and get a chance to share our love for West Raleigh. You will also be able to meet the new Community Officer for Southern Raleigh, Briana Powell, from RPD as well as Captain Jonathan Manson.  We expect other members of Raleigh Police and Fire as well as City staff and Council members  to attend.
