  • Sidewalk Sessions with Raleigh Transportation at Eastgate Park

    Raleigh Transportation is hitting the streets with a new community engagement series called Sidewalk Sessions. This campaign brings our team directly into the community—outside of traditional public meetings—by partnering with local businesses and community spaces across the city. Join us on Tuesday, June 17 at Eastgate Park from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Stop by to meet Raleigh Transportation's Mobility & Strategy staff, ask questions, share your ideas, and learn more about the Quail Hollow Drive Green Street Project which aims to improve mobility and connectivity for pedestrians, bicyclists, and all active mobility users projects in the area. Quail Hollow Drive between Hardimont Road and Millbrook Road has been identified for active mobility improvements, green stormwater infrastructure (GSI), and traffic calming as part of the  2020 Midtown-St. Albans Area Plan, and speed compliance thresholds met through the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. Stop by anytime!  It’s a casual, convenient way to connect and help shape the future of transportation in Raleigh. No speeches, no presentations—just real conversations about your neighborhood!
