Rezoning Z-92-22: New Bern Station Area Planning, 744 properties along New Bern Avenue between Downtown and Hedingham Boulevard / Freedom Drive (Districts B & C) The work session will begin with a staff presentation in Council Chambers.  Council will then travel by bus to the sites identified below.  While on the bus, there will be no discussion or staff presentations. In addition to the presentation in Council Chambers, staff will present background material and respond to questions from Council at the following stops: the former DMV building (1100 New Bern Avenue), and the future East Park-and-Ride (1451 N. New Hope Road). The background material will include illustrative images of potential development under current and proposed zoning districts for the portions of the rezoning request still under discussion.
