Hybrid Midtown Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) Meeting

We are continuing the hybrid model, with the in person meeting at Eastgate Park Community Center, combined with virtual participation using Zoom. We will open the meeting with updates from our local RPD members, followed by some special guests. As many of you know, Council is working on the budget for 2024 / 2025. In an effort to inform our area residents on issues of importance, we are featuring some work force groups that need more local attention. This month, we are hosting Caleb Lewis, representing the Raleigh Professional Firefighters Association (RPFFA) for a discussion on Separation Allowance for Firefighters. Our second guest speaker will provide additional detail on the long awaited Six Forks Road Improvement project that was finally approved by Council in February. While this project has been scaled back in terms of road coverage, it will definitely provide property relief to those residents and businesses along Six Forks road, in addition to traffic relief and improved intersection safety from Rowan to Millbrook road.
