Stormwater Management Advisory Commission

Raleigh Transportation Field Services Building 2550 Operations Way, Raleigh

The registration link and agenda will be available a week before the meeting date. If you subscribe to this meeting series, you will receive the registration link and updates such as news and workshops. This commission meets the first Thursday of every month. Members discuss various stormwater needs and issues. Then, provides recommendations to staff and reports to Raleigh City Council. Design Review Commission

Parks Committee

The committee is responsible for the study of issues related to park facilities, features, developments, and modifications. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Parks Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 303 at 6:00 pm.

Reindeer Rodeo at Abbotts Creek

Floravita Exhibition Closing Reception | SEEK Raleigh

The Grid Project will host an Opening for the Floravita Exhibition on Sunday, December 8th, from 12 - 4 pm.   Floravita   Floravita, curated by Pete Sack of The Grid Project, is an exhibition about the balance between living and letting go. Artists Alia El-Bermani, Skillet Gilmore, Oami Powers, and Sally Van Gorder explore how the fading of one life isn’t an ending; it’s part of an ongoing, interconnected rhythm—a dance of life and nature. Read more about the exhibition and The Grid Project. Board of Adjustment

Raleigh Municipal Building 222 W. Hargett St., Raleigh, NC, United States

The Raleigh Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body that acts on appeals for variances, special exceptions, and interpretations in the zoning regulations. Its decisions are final but may be subject to court action. The Board consists of eight members: four regular members and two alternate members are appointed to two-year terms by the City Council and must reside within the City limits; one regular member and one alternate are appointed by Wake County Commissioners and must reside within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
