Raleigh Arts is creating an Emerging Public Artist Registry and wants your feedback! This fall, the public arts team will launch a new way for local artists to be considered for public art projects under $30,000. Our Emerging Public Artist Registry will be open to NC-based artists working as muralists, mosaicists, sculptors, photographers, illustrators, and digital artists/designers. We’re working to develop an opportunity tailored to everyone from established studio artists looking for ways to break into public art to working public artists seeking projects that can help them reach the next level. We want to make sure that what we are building will work for artists! Please join us for a virtual information session on Friday, Sept. 4, at noon. Raleigh Arts will share our vision for the registry and listen to artist feedback. The meeting will be recorded for those who would like to participate but cannot attend.
