Spring has sprung, let's dance! This dance is for youth and adults with disabilities. Volunteer chaperones, DJ, and refreshments are provided. Participants needing more support, supervision, or assistance are welcome to attend with a chaperone or personal assistant. Join us at Mordecai Historic Park for a fun-filled morning hunting for eggs! Egg hunts will begin at 11 a.m. for age groups 0-4, 5-9, and 10 and up. Come before and stay after for crafts, games, and more spring activities. This is a free event and registration is not required. Bring your lunch to the City of Raleigh Museum and listen to a captivating lecture every third Thursday of the month. This month, we welcome Russ Stephenson. Russ will speak on the history of the Isabelle Bowen Henderson House and Gardens. Discover a hidden gem in the heart of West Raleigh—now a Raleigh Historic Landmark—where history, architecture, and horticulture intertwine. Get in the driver's seat with a free hands-on experience with vehicles of all kinds. This is a fun, interactive, family-friendly event that allows children and adults to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite trucks and heavy machinery, as well as meet the personnel who protect, serve, and build the Raleigh community. We will feature a 'No Horn Hour' from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. for guests with sensitive hearing. Little ones with sensitivities to loud noises are encouraged to visit during this time to experience everything in a comfortable environment. Ages: 0-12 Cost: Free
