Come join the City of Raleigh Museum for Family Fun Day! We will celebrate NASA’s Space Exploration Program. This year, we celebrate the 65th anniversary of Americans in space, as well as our upcoming return to the Moon with the Artemis Missions. You can try your hand at a simulated Extra Vehicular Activity (EVA) and launch a “Squeeze Bottle Straw Rocket” into orbit around a Lunar target. Marsh Creek Community Center is excited to invite community members who want to see and experience our new Urban Farm! Operated and supported in partnership with Raleigh City Farm, our Urban Farm was created in 2025 as a way to grow and distribute fresh produce to members of the Raleigh community. Take a tour, enjoy some fresh produce, chat with the farmers, learn about volunteer opportunities, and meet your neighbors at this drop-in opportunity to see all things going on with our Urban Farm! The welcoming ceremony to officially establish our partnership will be held at 6 p.m. Check in at the lobby of Marsh Creek Community Center when you arrive to start your tour experience.
