    The Raleigh Police Department is excited to host “National Coffee with a Cop” day on Oct. 1, providing an opportunity for community members to connect with their local police officers in a relaxed and friendly environment. This event will take place at various locations throughout the city, where people will have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee while discussing safety, community concerns, and building positive relationships with officers. This is a free service and no questions will be asked.   • Light the Tree with RPD!

    Join the Raleigh Police Department’s North Community Engagement Unit for a night of holiday magic at our North District Headquarters. Command Staff will lead the lighting of a 15-foot Christmas tree from Boone, NC, followed by a festive block party with cocoa, crafts, and carols under the stars. Celebrate the season and connect with your community! Date: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 Time: 5:30 – 8 p.m. Location: 6716 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615 Event details: Holiday block party: Music (Millbrook, Sanderson, and Leesville HS choir), hot cocoa, popcorn, cotton candy, and Christmas movies on our large projector screen!
