    The Raleigh Police Department is excited to host “National Coffee with a Cop” day on Oct. 1, providing an opportunity for community members to connect with their local police officers in a relaxed and friendly environment. This event will take place at various locations throughout the city, where people will have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee while discussing safety, community concerns, and building positive relationships with officers. Command Staff will lead the lighting of a 15-foot Christmas tree from Boone, NC, followed by a festive block party with cocoa, crafts, and carols under the stars.
