Enjoy a celebratory Juneteenth festival with live storytelling, musical performances, food trucks, and crafts for kids in a historic park honoring African American freedom and community. We will have two featured storytellers highlighting the history of Juneteenth, along with other activities! Donna Washington and Mitch Capel, also known as "Gran'daddy Junebug", will entertain and inspire with their stories. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day filled with stories, music, food, and connection. We’re celebrating Fourth of July with fireworks around the Lenovo Center and Carter-Finley Stadium.  We enjoyed having our fireworks show out at Dix Park. This year, we’re throwing it back to the stadium complex for a firework-focused event.  Parking opens at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
